Help please

Any help would be appreciated. I used my credit card on the 23rd June to order 2 viewing cards from falcon sat costing around £189. I payed for next day special delivery and did not receive them the next day. As I heard nothing from them I tried to ring then, no answer, I also sent 3 emails since then still no answer. I rand the bank up and they told me to wait till Monday as they have already issued the payment from my credit card buts it has not been claimed yet. The payment was issued to a third party who is sage pay who have not received authorization from falcon sat that the goods have been dispatched. Where do I stand. I have emailed falcon sat to cancel the said cards as i wanted them next day but as it stands they still have not replied to any of my emails or phone calls. Its costing me a fortune as its a mobile number and it goes straight to voice mail. After doing some reaserch on the internet I have since found out that this site is a bit on the dodgey side and send goods out 3-4mths down the line. This is no good to me as I said any help would be appreciated.

You're protected under DSR2000 and s.75 CCA so don't worry. Your CC company will suggest you give them 28 days prior to starting chargeback, same as Distance Selling Regs so to be honest you have to sit tight and when (if) they arrive you simply return them unopened and unused as unwanted and they have to issue a refund in line with DSR.

Bottom line is don't panic - you're covered under two entirely separate acts and either will ensure you're refunded but chargeback will be the best option if they don't arrive in the next week or so....

Agree - best to go via chargeback
  • Many thanks for replys, just going to wait as instructed then let cc company do their work.
    Thanks again.

Also anyone buying from Falcon sat Beware they dont answer emails or phone calls. I shouls have done a search on company before ordering. as the reviews are shocking.
