motorbike parking ticket

I parked my bike in a motorbike bay in rb kensington and chelsea, before I parked I checked for signs and there were no signs so I parked and went to the shops for about five mins. when I came back I saw a t.warden writing a ticket he just finished as I came to the bike he handed me the ticket, I didn't take it and did a quick start and moved my bike he threw the ticket which went on the floor and took a picture as I was moving.
I went to the other side and asked why I was getting a ticket and he showed me the writing on the ground of the bay which had 'M/C permit'.
I'm not sure what to do, just ignore it and say the warden didn't put a ticket as he did not take a pict. with a ticket on my scooter. or should I appeal on the grounds that there were no signs on a pole. When the wardens left I later went and picked up the ticket.

just want to add that the ticket I picked up was not sealed (closed) and attatched to the scooter. I am aware that they need to seal it and stick it on the bike.0

If only that were still the case. Pics of signs, lines and the pcn, both sides, would help. host on tinypic and put the url on here minus the http bit and let the experts here help you.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
