Incapacity Benefit / Income support.

Hi all.

Last year I was on Incapacity benefit for 6 months, then in December 2008 they changed it to Income support, due to me not having paid enough stamps.

My question is, as I have been incapable of work since June 2008, does this mean that my benefit will increase ? Also as I am only 35, does it mean that I should receive "age addition" benefit as well ?

Could anyone possibly help me as I am totally confuzzled with all this ?

I have tried the Entilted to calculator, but it doesnt appear to provide me with enough detail.

If anyone else has any experience with type of thing, I would love to hear from them.

Once you have been claiming Income Support on the grounds of Incapacity for 12 months you should have the disability premium added to the amount you receive.

You will not receive the age addition because you are not receiving Incapacity Benefit apart from IB credits due to not having paid enough NI.
