Give it a try with one of the other pdf coupons, because the Peppadew one does not scan for me even when printed out normally. I think the barcode is too small but perhaps someone else on here will help us out please.

My local Tesco, (Willenhall) has now said only one "big shop" per week using coupons, what constitutes a big shop?, how can they enforce such a ludicrous rule? Is this even allowed?

just wondering where the best tescos is to shop in in the telford / shropshire area that accepts coupons?. love to hear peoples thoughts . or is it worth me traveling a bit further a field .. many thanx

Play around with your printer settings...there is a box to check that say something about ..'pdf something or other' and then uncheck the one that says 'fit to printer margins','cos that keeps it small, then go to properties and make sure you have checked best print( not draft) ...just keep checking and unchecking them until it looks about the size you want.... I go for 'big is best' and they seem to scan OK

Good advice Bullshot. I've also had some success using a program called Paint Shop Pro (it's like Photoshop but cheaper:rotfl:). What I do is zoom the PDF to the biggest size that fits on the screen then use the screen capture facility and save as a JPG. The quality of the barcode is excellent this way. Obviously, you never :eek: never :eek: never :eek: alter the coupon in any way as this would be fraud in my opinion:D

The way I print my coupons from the pdf files is... print booklet style.. that way you get 4 good copy's on a page... long winded way of doing it because you have to turn the page after each print , but you get 4 to a page and they always scanfor me.:j:j
