    Hi folks

I just want to put the feelers out to see whether anyone would be willing to permanently take over updating the first page of this thread.

It's getting to the stage that it's taking up too much time for me every day!! If for some reason I don't check for a couple of days there's always pages and pages of chat to read through - so it's really a 'once a day' at least job. And the truth is, I'm not really much of a chatter myself , so I don't get as much out of the thread as many of the rest of you do.

I know we tried the 'type important stuff in blue' thing. But that didn't really work because only half of the posters (at the most) adhered to this policy. So I've still had to carefully read through ALL the posts just in case I miss anything.

I definitely don't want the chat to stop - because as we've seen before the sense of community spirit seems to dwindle when the chat goes.

So, I've done it for 6 months. Does anyone want to volunteer for the next 6 months?

I'll keep things going until we find someone.

This thread has gained so many more contributers and contributions in the last six months. Personally, I would nominate your protege Bluewkd.

Blue nominates MM5, he did a great job standng in on the newspaper thread :T
Bless we've taken over your life, you've done a fab job and it's fantastic you've done it as long as you have, I vote Bluewkd too doubt she's got a social life, so it'll give her something to do;):D

Blue has a social life and a part time job , but for the last couple of months has been poorly, so has been able to spend time on here. Also blue planning on going away for 4 weeks in Sept, so would not be around.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

Just wanted to say a very big thank you to Lori for the fantastic job she has been doing - I can well understand how this board has grown into something that takes so much of her time. As a a newbie it takes me ages just to read all the posts - housework seems to have taken a back seat since I discovered this board lol:rotfl::rotfl:

Its up to the Store Manager discretion to refuse internet coupons or even number of coupons you are allowed to used. The motto is :- take it or leave it! You can complain to Dundee as many time as you like but the final say is still up to the Store Manager. Dundee can't do anything. The only thing Dundee can do for you is the £5 conditional MOC spend (ie : Lidl, farmfoods, morrison, sainsbury & M&S) - should the store refused than you can call Dundee & they will send you £5 credit.

This is it, its up to the store manager, I can only use coupon nets latley in 2 tescos near me, I'm constanly accused of having photocopies nad made to feel like I've done something wrong, its rubbish!
  • just wanted to add my thanks to honey for the maintenance of the front page - it must take a lot of time to keep this ticking over. as a 'junior' member of the forum I wouldn't know where to start - it is definitely not taken for granted in our house! you do a great job. thanks.

PC & Veggie are referring to a diff coupon which does have the barcode info BUT they are well past expiry date.

PP1980 I agree IF they ( assume you mean the Pampers ) are fake then ebay ought not to be allowing the auction to run.
