I'm always late on these things but if anyone still has their Mirror paper with the TV guide from yesterday, the Doctor Who pages in the middle have a £1 moc off Doctor Who Adventures mag

Might use it for the actual product as I do occasionally buy it :o:D

The supervisors are getting more and more enquisitive, they were asking me where i get the coupons from etc yesterday, i didn't go into much detail, just said its hard work finding them, lol.
But i was wondering, if they asked me if i use the same ones again and again (ie the pdf ones we save, the cif, domestos etc etc,) what do i say??
  • thought i woild try to win something on the mars comp.
read on here a while ago that you could get your computer ro remember the codes you put in so you didnt have to type them in again.
cant fint it now even though ihave done a search.
went something like this iput code, then before you chck the code press enter (computer then remembers code) ckeck code and carry on inputting rest of codes the same way.
Input first letter of one of your codes and press enter and the full code is shown.
Tried this but not working so im doing something wrong or this has been stopped now.
    Any help please ?

Querying this one m4rtin...agree that's what it says in T&C's , but in the bit at the bottom ...To the Retailer...'Each coupon is valid for one use per customer'....so does that mean print once and use once...

Well, it says 'each coupon' so I take it that means one 50p coupon off each purchase. If you print a second coupon thats a different one so can be used against another purchase. A bitof a convoluted way of putting it !

It just scanned beautifully....used only internet printed ones plus a £3 from Rinse Aid and paid 75p for £13.30 shop....so now have used mocs totalling £282.52 since 26th of June...need to use another £65.48 befoe the 26th of this month to have paid for my laptop....so got to shop 5/6 times this week....but want to go fishing,a lot more next week so might have probs shopping....not been fishing for a while and Wimbledon stopped me as well....didn't win tix for tennis ( thanks to peeps that sent me comp links) but have won Andy Murray tennis bag, with towel, water bottle, T-shirt and wrist bands via Highland Spring Daily entry comp...better than a poke in the eye....

Well I just explain (if they ask) that certain internet-printable coupons are unrestricted as far as printing them is concerned. But then I might add 'because I know Tesco coupon policy I only use one of each of them per day anyway'. This usually works fine as they can see I am playing by the rules, they know me, my name & pretty much everything about me anyway from previous troutings & coupon-discussions.

Just to add a huuuuge warning about the magazine coupons you asked about in an earlier post today. NEVER use any of them in a Metro or Express, they will definitely not be able to redeem them, no question of it at all - it will be lost money to them (unlike Extras, small stores have to redeem newspaper and magazine coupons direct with their supplier so can never get away with redeeming a coupon taken at the till for a title they don't stock).

Aalank, we will all have to use our common sense and do some research locally first. Go in a bigger store, preferably an Extra, take a list and go & look for those titles on the magazine shelf. Then maybe use one of them that time that you can see they do stock (just one of your choice, not one of each of the thirteen titles).

I have only bothered to print off 3 of one title as I know my local Extra stocks it. I only intend to keep the 3 mocs in my 'spares' pile and will use one on an odd occasion that my sums go a bit wrong and my total at the till is still a couple of quid. Maybe once or twice per month, just for that title I know they do stock.

Any newbies or lurkers feeling a bit sceptical about this and thinking 'yes but it'll scan'?

Just think what Tesco had to do in the end to stop us using OK magazine coupons, which they had stopped getting the money back on. And that's a very popular mag with a huge amount sold each week - not an obscure monthly mag with some Extras maybe stocking half a dozen copies at most, each month!

Thank you so much for taking the time to do such a detailed and helpful reply that i know everyone will find a great help, including me.
I did my research on the magazine coupons and found that my local Tesco only stocks three of them and so i, like you will only use them if i NEED them and not frequently, if everyone sticks to this, hopefully there will be no need for them to stop it.
Do you put your full name and address and phone number on each one??
    Thank you once again

You didn't say if you want it for direct or shopping  If I order anything from direct I always order a sim card as well cos they have free delivery and then next time I go to the store take the sim back :D
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

I wanted to get one of the mags that was listed the other day but the barcode looks really bad in the printout, VERY blurry.
Has anyone else found this to be the case.

My store has the airgun one.
