I am from the North East also, so looks like there are 3 of us. :j
Me tooI know the town where Princess coupon lives, and its about 30 miles from me. So the `Northeast` is a big place
The only Tesco i have tried is the one at Coulby Newham, and they didn't take coupons. Only tried once though, never go there actually, and them not taking coupons didn't make me want to return either0 -

Re: Rutherglen
Depends on the SA, have had all taken up until a few days ago when a SA sent me to CS, and was told only 50% allowed. still, better than nowt.
I will however brave it again...they can only say a big NO.
If it is 50% from now on, I'm happy... could be less.
HTH
Thanks for the info jax. My day didnt quite go to plan and didnt make it to any of the tescos  But I will report back when I venture there
Much appreciated0 -

Hi Mrs T
Silverburn is my local. I've found it to be mostly ok with coupons. I usually use about 50% towards my shopping, and always try to pick young males to serve me.
On the few occasions that I've had problems (ie supervisor called over) I've shown them my copy of the policy. But they always look a bit blank and say that they've never seen the document before, etc etc. But I've only ever had to leave the store without using coupons on one occasion - all the other problem times have resulted in at least SOME of the coupons being accepted.
I'd love to find a store in the Glasgow area that accepts unlimited coupons! It would be so nice to pay for almost all of my shopping that way. I read other people's posts about paying 3p, and amounts like that, and I feel a little envious!! LOL!
I hope you are successful!
Lori

Thanks lori have pm you0 -
I went to my local tesco in meir stoke on trent and had no problem using printed money off coupons the assistant was great, i was quite nervous as I am very new to this but thanks to loads of help from a great friend 'bullshot' I did very well, she is a mine of information and really urged me to get out there and go for it, came out well pleased with myself and right now I am printing off more coupons for my next expedition, hopefully with less nerves, by the way there is a 40p coupon on the chilled soya alpro milk at the moment in tesco and it is also on 2 for £2 so brings it down to 60p per carton instead of the normal £1.29
Happy shopping everyone:T
We shop in the same store, Longton not so good, wouldn't bother if I was you..

The staff in my local are now trying to change the policy because a customer (not me, by the way;)) bought a mobile phone with coupons. The managers are getting quite frustrated with having to keep telling the staff that legit coupons are ok, and that they HELP the store's profit margin!
I now choose the SA's that look like they need re-training the most, and allow more time for being at the checkout, and use cool bags so the frozen stuff isn't defrosted before I leave the store:rolleyes::pIt's nice to be nice .....
You HAVE checked google before asking, haven't you?;)
