Re the recently-posted moc, I think it's wise to avoid this one, it will scan but be aware of the possible repercussions in your store. Can your store can really get away with trying to redeem 20+ of these hobby-specific mocs from you each month, when they maybe only stock 5 copies per month - if at all... Most Tesco stores won't stock it anyway.

Just to add a final word of caution (has been said before but we have newbies on the thread) don't ever use magazine or newspaper mocs in a Metro or Express, not ever, unless you have checked that they stock it. Metros and Express shops deal directly with their newspaper supplier as regards redeeming any newspaper and magazine mocs they get in. They can't redeem ones they don't sell so they lose the money. Not the same as larger stores where they send all mocs off to a central point.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I think Jules is spot on! Different mag, sadly coupon states WHS plus all good stockists....... I would suggest if you see it in your T's and they will type/hand scan then you're probably safe to use it but otherwise I would avoid this one:cry: Shame but think of the long game
:p:p Have a good [STRIKE]Tesc[/STRIKE][STRIKE]Asd[/STRIKE]WHO? day - Err....I still wish Mozzies had a better website even though they are now on MyS! :p:p :rotfl:;)

Totally agree with you m4rtin... think of the trouble caused with Warbys...we've had enough probs of late, lets not make things any worse than we need...straw that broke the camels back....could affect your local Tesco policy...
But think all this is too late now...it's been posted and I bet it's been printed several hundred , probably thousands of times by now......there are more lurkers than posters on this thread....

I think Pink and Gill will be OK to use this in large stores in Cornwall (if their store stocks it and allows magazine mocs).

But most of the rest of us would be wise to avoid this one, it will scan but be aware of the possible repercussions in your store. Can your store can really get away with trying to redeem

Think I will check out if my store stocks it (extra) but even if they do I think it would be unwise to use the coupon every day. I'm sure there's more than me, Gill, Pink and Judy?? from Cornwall that must come on here for our mocs and even though we have a lot of people down here in Cornwall that probably buy this mag it's gonna get noticed, and I would be surprised if it isn't long before this gets blocked.

Sadly I agree. I wish everybody who reads these threads could be as honest as we are. It's a shame, and it's been said many times before but if people do choose to abuse the system, eventually Tesco'll go the same way as the other major supermarkets.

My extra store have started clamping down already. It used to be pretty much as many coupons as you like ( barr the odd trout) but now they'll only take 50%.

Visited 2 stores today........... 50% limit at the 1st one so handed over £8 ...........better luck at the 2nd one..........young male sa ( don't ya just love'em!!:rotfl:) took all I had, so paid 47p!! :T
