Not sure if you posted in the wrong thread because we are talking about the initial application here and not changes of circumstance.

I think Poolie meant in terms of your course change - this is likely to be classed as a change in circumstance.

I too received my seacond year at Uni's allowance without sending in a form...well the bit you are supposed to sign but i did do the online form so I suppose they just authorised it anyway.

I have found the finance to be very prompt. I filled out 2009/10 forms earlier this year and it was all agreed within a week. Excellent and that included a change of address which they didn't quibble about either.

It will be classed as a change of circumstance as it is different from the information the original application was based on.

I know the feeling, am getting increasingly worried myself that I may not get anything in time for the beginning of the uni year.

I have two young children so have applied for CCG, maintenance loan and grant, whatever else I could get I don't remember now...When I checked back on my details I was surprised to discover that one of my children was missing from the application! I'm sure I'd have remembered her when I was inputting it all...so sent in a change of circumstances form (Yes, my circumstances changed as I suddenly had a 15 month old? lol). They have had my passport, birth certificate and marriage certificate which were sent back to me after about 6 weeks of sending however online still says they are waiting for them. I happened to log in last week and it's a good job I did as they had requested further documentation (proof of financial commitments and a tax credits letter to prove I have dependents), I hadn't received an email or anything telling me that they wanted more stuff so if I hadn't logged in on the off change I would never have known!

I'm arranging a payment holiday on the mortgage to coincide with the beginning of the academic year so we at least have a couple of hundred quid to keep us going a little longer should the worst come to the worst.
    Good luck to us all!

I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?
