My offer is accepted. I asked for HIP before 1 week but the EA is like its not complete. So how can they market property? EA said, they only need to complete "certain" part of HIP to market. (not being specific).
I think i should not appoint solicitor until i get HIP to view? Am I right?
Also what are the exact rules regarding HIP?

The HIP regulations changed in April, before you only had to commission a HIP (pay for it) to be able to market the property. Since April the following elements have to be done before marketing can take place:
1 Index
2 Energy performance certificate
3 Land registry title documents and plan (or SIM result where the title is unregistered)
4 Property information questionaire
The other elements of the HIP must still being processed though a HIP company should be able to supply complete HIP within 5 working days if they are efficient. Hope that helpsTo love and be loved is the greatest happiness of existance - Sydney Smith0 -
