Tesco are apparently offering customers who currently pay interest on their cards a way of paying it back quicker.
Tesco to help deal with card debts
April 2006
TESCO is to launch a bonus credit card to help borrowers who pay interest on their outstanding balance every month clear their debts more quickly. The card, available from Wednesday, will give back a month's interest each year, on the anniversary of the card.
Cardholders who pay interest on their borrowings are often charged rates of more than 17.9 per cent, forking out an average £250 million in interest a month. The bonus card offers 0 per cent on balance transfers and purchases until 1 January, 2007, when it rises to 12.9 per cent.
Bit of a joke. I do use Tesco for day to day things and pay off the balance every month otherwise I'd be paying interest, I get the clubcard vouchers etc but that's it. Martin's right, loyalty doesn't pay.

Loyalty to banks and CC companies is to be in debt so you pay them interest. They don't get anything out of the good guys who pay off their balance each month.
