Dh bought a new one yesterday and i used it today in the camera..all good 2GB and holds lots of pics BUT have just tried loading them all onto the printer as i do with our other one and it wont go in properly? it is exactly the same but the old one is a viking 128MB and this is a kingston..any ideas why? The printer is a Lexmark photo type printer p4350..not sure how to get the pictures off now as lost the lead for it? Thanks

When you say it won't go in properly, do you mean that it won't fit in the slot, or that it fits but is not recognised?
If the latter, it may just be that the new one is the later SDHC type and the Lexmark printer isn't compatible with that type.
If the former, I can't think why. All SD cards should be physically the same shape and size.
If you can get hold of a standard mini-USB to normal USB lead, then you should be able to use the camera as a card reader by connecting it to your PC and transferring the photos directly onto the PC's hard disk.0 -
Hi well thickness, width etc it is the same as the other one we have..It fits in at a push then is very hard to get out and the pc says unrecognised. I have no lead at all for the camera so thereofre cannot get the pics off without it.0

Is it an SDHC card?
If not, did you buy it from a reputable source?0 -
easy work around get a usb sd adapter, think poundland has them, basically plug in your sd card into the adapter and plug directly into any usb slot.

Just to throw a little light on this....
SD cards do vary in size, but this is only the thickness of the card and as far as I know it's only the 4GB and upwards that are slightly thicker.
I know this because I have an Oregon ATC-2000 headcam and it will only support up to 2GB, because the 4GB and upwards get stuck in the slot.“I may not agree with you, but I will defend to the death your right to make an a** of yourself.”
