Serious Error!

The pc has just gone weird, lines all down the cpu and then a pure white screen. I turned it off and back on again, and now its saying there is a Serious Error. I have 2 files that will be included in the report(?) whecih relate to LOCAL~1\Temp\WERb38a.dir00\Mini040406-01.dmp and LOCALS~1|Temp\WERb38a.dir00\sysdata.sml

Unless it keeps reoccuring, it's probably nothing to worry about, from the sounds of it the graphics card had a problem, it can happen from time to time. The report is an error report which can be submitted to microsoft to be analysed (usually automatically) to try and determine the cause of the problem. It's anonymous, they just use it to keep track of any major bugs affecting a lot of users.

One of those files is a .dmp file which basically holds lots of wierd information about your crash.

The other file .sml is a file in the temp folder, so nowt to worry about.

Make sure you have the latest critical updates.
