Buy to Let - How I made £100 @ month
Comments

This has got to be the worst investment ever. Are you that thick that you cannot make more money for your investment than 1200 a year.
Oh my god. I cannot believe the insanity out there.0 -
I would encourage anyone to look at Realwildones other posts on related matters.
He seems to be a bit upset about things!.0 -
Sorry, but it IS a rubbish investment, even though it happened during a coincidental rise in house prices - something outside of your control.
If we want to include your 10,000 gain, then that makes it a speculative punt. And that's akin to gambling.
As you say yourself, you wouldn't do it again. And yet, you haven't really had much hassle the first time.0 -
I think realwildone is spot on. This is a really poor investment.
£100pm before tax and without any costs (which will come) is not worth the effort and the growth is speculative and could easy have been beaten by other lower risk investments.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA). i was reading this thread and wondering what all the fuss was about for 100 a month - you could make that selling junk on ebay!0

Lowis - but didn't you know; everyone's a property developer/property tycoon these days :rotfl:0

£100 per month...wooopeeee...not exactly Donald Trump are you. However, multiply this by 50 properties and you have a half decent income.0
-
...with 50 times the work and stress :-(0

I think anyone with a salary of 60K is going to encounter stress in their job. The majority of my properties cause me no stress/work whatsoever0

this is so right. my boyfriend and I have paid for two holidays just by selling all our c*#p on ebay/amazon and we also intend to fund our wedding in this way. I also used to make an extra £100 a month by coaching kids for the 11+ for 2 hours on a saturday. Incredibly stress-free, but hardly what I would call lucrative.0
