I'm a member of LA Fitness (under Radisson hotel, opp. Central Station) and pay £30 a month (don't know what the going rate is now cos I joined 2/3 years ago). My main reason for joining was its proximity to the station and because it has a pool. It's not massive but I can't swim v much so it's fine for me. Also has a spa and sauna. They were the things that sold it to me!

There's quite a lot of fitness equipment and classes. It's gone through phases of looking a bit grubby but it seems okay at the moment. It gets really busy just before/after folk are at work so I avoid it then.

If you want to know any more about it then just shout.
