well i have to say you are a lucky man having your new partner pay off your debts.

have you done a new SOA with your latest budget? would be interesting to see if we can still shave some more off,

if you are looking at increasing your credit rating this can be done, although you do have to be disaplined with with, there is an artical somewhere on this site about rebuilding your credit rating, but the basics are getting 1 or 2 credit cards (shudder) and use these for your getting your normal things, such as food shopping THEN PAY THEM OF FULLY EVERY MONTH, do not use them for other things or getting something you cant actually afford

yes you will probably have to wait a little bit, but if you use this time for increasing your savings as well that will also help

on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

Well done, dont jump into anything quick without following Gonzo's advice. He is right otherwise the same old mistakes may happen again.

Do try to follow the MSE ideas - reduce unecessary spending, save wherever possible and your money will go further.

Good luck, v happy for your new circumstances.
