It's only a straight swap if the price you negotiate for each house is the same, which is unlikely to happen much.
It's still all based on making offers based on someone's asking price, except that you're both buying each other's houses. The process is exactly the same as any other sale and purchase, just that you're dealing with the same people, therefore if your house is worth more than theirs and you've agreed prices, they will pay you the balance of the difference between the two houses.Everything that is supposed to be in heaven is already here on earth.
