Well he got the job starts monday its 13 and half hours a week £91.00.
Now we get £130 per week income support, which inckudes the carers premium, so what will happen.0 -
The JCP will disregard £20 pw because you're entitled to a carers premium.
So with the Carers Allowance your weekly income would then be £124.10 which is CA of £53.10 + wage of £71.00 (because of £20 disregard). It will be topped up with IS to what the law says you need to live on which is £130.45 pw.
Because you are still in receipt of IS you'll get all the passported benefits which goes with this.
So all in all you'll be better off by £20 pw.I'll get you, my pretty, and your little dog too!0
