Woolwich bank takeover. Can you still claim with Barclays?

I was with the Woolwich for many years until it was taken over my Barclays last year. Can I still put in a claim to cover ALL bank charges including those with the Woolwich, or will Barclays only honour those from the takeover date? Should I add this to the template letter? or should Barclays look back through their records which were transfered with the Woolwich takeover? Confused...
