Online company refusing to refund and may be closing down

in Credit cards
Hi,
I bought some clothes online and after 3 days have decided I wish to return them for a refund. the company I bought them from are now telling me they won't refund on certain items and are generally rather rudely telling me I am wasting their time (while also saying that they are closing down). I am concerned that I will not get my money back...however I have purchased on a credit card - will I be protected even if the company disappears?
Many thanks
Nick

If you spent £100 or more then you should be covered.
You could also give the Office of Fair Trading a call as you may be covered by Distance Selling Regulations that give the consumer a 7 day cooling off period.0 -
I have confirmed that I am covered by the Distance Selling Regulations but the company is refusing to play ball. Just wanted to check that if they go bankrupt I won't lose all my money.0

In that case, if you've spent £100 or more on your credit card then you should be covered. It might not hurt to give your credit card company a call and see what they say about it.0
