Wedding Present

Had church friends get married last weekend and I gave them £40 in John Lewis vouchers, which they also specifically requested. I felt this was more than adequate and would have gone lower if not for fear of coming across as tight! Don't forget all the other expense that comes with wedding attendance...
As an aside, I don't particularly get on with my sister and she would be lucky to get a penny from me! If it weren't for my Mom, I don't imagine we would even speak so her wedding gift was my presence alone!DEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -

Congratulations on the pay-rise :TDEBT FREE AND LOVING LIFE0 -
Congratulations on your promotion Piggles12345, that's really great! :-)
Go for the £40, that' a good amount, you can hold your head high whilst not feeling your having to spend all your hard earned cash on someone you'd rather not.0
