Cancelling BT Line

Are there any reasons not to cancel the line? I don't wish to pay for it any longer as we don't use it. Had it for Sky, but have since been told that I don't need it for them.
If we need to reinstate BT in the future, will there be a huge charge? I only pay £11.25 a month at the moment, but it's an additional bill I could do withou.

You can cancel your BT line without any charges if you are not in contract. If at a later date you wish to reinstate, the standard connection charge, currently £122.50, will apply unless the wiring and network connection exists and is suitable for re-use.
