You can get rollerblinds for showers as well, I don't have a link to hand but if you have a look on google you'll find plenty of places that sell them. We used to have one and it was great because it 'squeegeed' itself as you rolled it up so it never got mouldy, because the roller unit was up on the ceiling it didn't add to the clutter in our tiny bathroom.
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.

Manhattan swift seal 4-5 panel screens are about the best money can buy, There click and seal is easy to use, maintain and clean

Shower curtains are sometimes the only option but i would only ever fit with a fixed glass panel to prevent water leakage

Thank you again Andyhop. I've taken your very helpful advice before. I had real problems with the seal along the bottom of my last 4-fold screen which got mouldy and was very difficult to replace. Is this one different?

  • Just fitted an over bath screen and when not in use we swing the screen over the bath against the wall so it's less obtrusive. Works well.

We had the single version of this

I mean, the one we had didn't go round the corner, it was just the long side. I didn't get it from them, I think I got it from Scotts of Stow, but they don't seem to do them anymore.

This place seems to do their own version too

I've been digging around and I am pretty sure this is the site of the wholesaler for them
    http://www.eco-dur.com/html/england.html

it's not much of a site, but it does look like you can buy direct off them, and you can see the different patterns they do on there.

I have a folding screen too - one that folds into four and goes right back up against the wall. Again never had a problem with cleaning it. I always use the after shower spray stuff too and rarely bother with a squeegee because that seems to pretty much do the job.

The issue is not you doing it it's living in a hard water area and other people who use the shower not bothering to do it.
    I'm not cynical I'm realistic :p

(If a link I give opens pop ups I won't know I don't use windows)
