paypal claim limit?

is there a limit to the amount of paypal claims i can make for items purchased from ebay?

    maybe someone is going to cheat the system and put a claim in for everything and anything!
    Target Savings by end 2009: 20,000
    current savings: 20,500 (target hit yippee!)
    Debts: 8000 (student loan so doesnt count)

    new target savings by Feb 2010: 30,000

    i've made 2 claims in the past 10 months for items that have not arrived

    I guess, but this is a guess- that they go by percentages. I've had to make a bucketload of claims, but I buy a huge amount as well. Most of the time I don't think it does actually get lost, but there we are- ebay gave private sellers free listing, and it's us that have to deal with the fallout :rolleyes:

    There used to be a value limit of around £3500 per year, but no mention of number of claims. This was changed last year/early this year to remove the value limit.

    From attending a Paypal seminar last year though, they did say that regular claimants would be flagged and monitored, but obviously didn't state the exact criteria.

    I guess it depends on the proportion of claims - somebody who buys 100's of items per year should be expected to make more claims than somebody who only buys once a month.

    I believe Royal Mail also monitors claims against them
