Designer bags are my downfall, but I do have the odd stock check. Anya Hindmarch is my favourite as I at least try to keep it British, but I do also have Gucci and LV, oh and Paul Smith. I started to sell them off on Ebay but got fed up with people asking if they were real and then offering totally ridiculous sums of money.
They're all packed in their dust bags and I'm waiting for the vintage to really kick in. My normal bag is a Mulberry Bayswater, boy can that bag carry a lot of books!0 -
I'm defo more of a bag than shoe person if i'm going to splash out.
Ive got a lovely one from new york last year. Couple of DKNY, guess and a Louis vuitton one a bought last year as a birthday present to myself ha. Saving up to buy a Chanel bag in the states later this year. I concider the big designer ones as an investment.New York ♥..........These street will make you feel brand new, Big lights will inspire you.
No place in the world that can compare ♥ 2nd October 2010 ♥0 -
I love bags and shoes. However I cannot and will not pay those ridiculous designer price tags. I very carefully select good quality bags that will last and not ones that are cheap and nasty and fall apart within a few weeks.I am happy to pay more for a bag that is good quality and not just because of a designer label. I think that Radley and also Jane Shilton's ranges are excellent examples of quality bags.0

I'm not fond of the current trend for large, garishly-coloured bags with lots of metal on them. How did it become fashionable to look so very trashy? I work with a couple of women who appear to have extensive hand-bag wardrobes but I suspect those LV and Gucci bags are fake, fake, fake. I really don't get it. Under all the glitz, those girls own nothing of value at all, bar bags, shoes and clothes. Mad.0

I have the real thing, not fakes and do own things of more value than shoes and bags, maybe they do to try not to tar everyone with the same brush. We all like different things in life and it is nice to treat yourself now and then.0 -
I just cracked - now the proud owner of a Mulberry "Mabel" in a sort of burnt orange colour :j. Even more pleased that I paid less than half price for it and a lot less than the one currently for sale on eBay.0

I love handbags but had to curb my spending on them after i bought my dior gaucho. I got it £200 cheaper at £650!!
It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt

I'm a bit of a handbag-aholic and I love the quality of vintage, classic bags.
My best buy was a huge Jaeger quilted bag with chain handles - £3 from a charity shop.
I also got a conker leather Furla shoulder bag at a car boot recently for 50p!
I couldn't morally spend hundreds or even thousands on new designer bags even if I had the money!"I'm ready for my close-up Mr. DeMille...."0
