I bought some expensive leather boots last winter in almost the same shade and walked miles trying to buy a bag to match. I gave up in the end because either the colour was OK but the shape wrong etc. Then I find this beauty and I'm over the moon!!:j

    Sounds like that was fate!

*Mrs Twit wanders in wondering if her Morrisons use again & again shopper with a snow scene on it counts as designer*

I am lusting after a Vivienne Westwood bag that's in a shop in town though.

When I was over in the US visting my sister..we were out shopping one day and she saw me look at a Ed Hardy bag but when I saw the "sale" price of $75 (normally $165) I put that thing right down but I am not know for spending more than £30 on a purse...well guess what...later that night she surprised me with the bag!!! I was so surprised it just about brought tears to my eyes. I have never owned such a pricey bag (to me) but I must say..ever since I got it...I've been using it everyday heh.

I am not very keen on the Radley bags, but I have a plainish black one with small amount of pink trim but minus the dog tag. That was another charity shop bargain.

A couple of years ago I had a lovely gypsy style bag with sequins, lace etc and every time I went out someone asked where I got it and whether they could buy mine. My mate said if I didn't stop using that bag she would stop coming out with me because she was fed up hearing people discussing my bag!!

I also have a bag by Smith & Canova (fabric type, about £50ish and covered in Scottie dogs so everyone says "I love your Radley bag":eek::o A lot of women just talk to the bag !!:rotfl:

I've got two black Mulberrys, a large one for everyday use & a smaller one for not everyday.
My DD has a tan Mulberry (we bought it for her last Xmas).
I have a couple of Fiorellis & a Fiorelli beach bag (thats nice), but I never use them. I have a Fiorelli purse I love.
My DD has a couple of Fiorellis too.
DD has a nice Jasper Conran I bough her too.
She also has a brilliant fake Chloe (a real leather fake) I bought it for her in Fethyie in Turkey & its an amazing copy.
Lots of other bags too, but to be honest its the big Mulberrys that we both use 99% of the time.
  • I have several Bally bags as I used to work for them & got a big discount:D they are such good quality & still going strong many years later.

My OH bought my a Louis Vuitton back in the day when he was trying to impress me & I have a Fendi baguette that I bought second hand in a shop in Hong Kong about 5 years ago. It was gorgeous until a mouse got hold of it, now it wears a strategically placed brooch over the designer nibble hole!

I also have one of those check Burberry totes that I'm holding on to but will never use again as an ex-colleague referred to it as my chav bag.

Ooooh I love handbags! I wish I could afford some new ones, Hermes, Bottega Veneta, Mulberry, the lot really...........
I have the simplest tastes. I am always satisfied with the best.

I'm not a bag person. Last year I was given a FCUK toiletries set that came with a tshirt and a big bag but I don't understand what everyone carries around in such massive bags? I got a little one for my birthday this year which is black faux leather (I wish it was real). It's growing on me since I decided to put my reservations aside and start using it. I'll keep trying though ok!

I have 2 Lulu Guinness bags. One is a small going out bag, and the other is a large bag I use if I'm staying overnight anywhere.

I have a black Ralph Lauren bag, and I own part-shares in another.

I also have a pink Dior bag, but that's kinda trashed
