Phil, but if you are on a public highway, and you are pulling into park at the side of the road infront of another parked vehicle, you oversteer and hit the car with the side of your vehicle and it is behind the mid point of your vehicle (I know this can happen as I still have the dent in my car
) whos fault is it in your theory? The parked unattended vehicle?
I will reitterate my previous post... we do not know what the TP version of events is and for all we know it is what I just said. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

i know im a bit late but personally, i wouldnt worry in the slightest you know!
i mean looking at that photo there is no way you couldve hit the other car unless you did some sort of handbreak turn into the back of his!
it just defies logic to think that it should go 50:50! its clear cut from what any sensible person (obviously not their insurance co!) would think.
good luck mi duck!
 I thought I told you that Vee won't stop... :cool:0 -
I had to do a double take - in case you had photographed MY car instead of your partners.
I have and identical dent albeit on the drivers side doors of my estate car = where some numpty decided I wasn't there are drove into the side of my car coz he was in the wrong lane of the roundabout.
He had the gall to tell me that I hit him - urm beg to differ 'mate'
His kids suggested he "get his warrant card out" - urm how is that gonna help? (I *know loads of Polis, and I am unimpressed by the size or quality of ANYONEs warrant card)
he called the cops from his mobile - WHY? no one injured.
He STILL hasn't given his insurance company a full statement of what happened...
Sorry I'm waffling.
FWIW You appear to be in the right and if you have independant witnesses (other neighbours) then go for it!just in case you need to know:

Afternoon all.
Mini-update: OH phoned her insurance company yesterday - they have had nothing at all back from the TP's insurance company and have sent a chasing letter. They are still obviously going all-out for the blame to be placed with the TP.
Thanks again. This space has been intentionally left blank0
