Best ways to get 2 for 1 or concesstions on York attractions ?

Anyone any ideas. We'd love to go to the yovik centre, the minster etc and any advice on getting two for one on these would be a great help.

We bought a York pass, they had a deal on that made it cheaper to buy from the website before we got there... But a couple of uses and you've already saved money...

Can throroughly recommend the dungeons, and castle museum!

Thanks. We looked at the yorkpass and its something we are considering. But we already have buy one, get one free on the dungeons (got from an icelands voucher) and the yorkbus sightseeing bus (purchased of ebay for just £1.40) so not sure how well it will work out for us.

I live near york and i wouldnt waste your moeny on the Jorvik Centre, it is total crp and a rip off.

Go for a ride on the York boat and the Castle Museum is a must to see and well worth the money.

York itself is a lovely place to shop, live and work.
make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.

Thanks for that. Maybe give the jorvik centre a wide berth as i've read that it isn't too good elsewhere too. Do they ever offer deals to the castle museum ?

Me again. the national railway museum is free, but dont take your car (its walkable distance) the car park fees are humungus.

You did well to get the tour bus for that price, i think its about £12. now.

No what i mean was it was a buy one, get one free voucher, not the ticket :) Would have been nice though.

We are going on the 4th to the 6th of August stopping at the Holiday Inn Express and i would be sincerly grateful if you see any vouchers around. Thanks very much.
