You may need the codecs, try K-Lite Full http://www.free-codecs.com/K_Lite_Codec_Pack_download.htm
Having a look at that site it looks well iffy on a legal level, just remember
to Virus scan any downloaded file as they usually come with bundled spyware
or the odd virus if you are lucky.0 -
I know it sounds improbable but their is a program called gspot which will anlyse avi files and identify if the codec needed to play it is on your system. It will also tell you what codec you need if it isn't installed,
More info here http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
and downloadable from here
http://www.headbands.com/gspot/download.html
You just use gspot to "open" the avi file and it will give you the above info.
As I recall once installed you can right click on the avi file and gspot will be an option to open it withDemocracy is two wolves and a lamb voting on what to have for lunch. Liberty is a well-armed lamb contesting the vote.
