You've got another 2 years to wait before you can get a credit card.

Forget about extra credit for your student years, rely on student loans/grants and part-time jobs to fund it, then when you get your job at the end of it you'll be quids in.

    Hello,
iv just left school so i am 16 years old and i am going to collage so i will be getting E.M.A and hopefully will be getting a job.
Would it be wrong of me to suggest that you forget about credit, stay on at school and hammer the English lessons?

I know, it was just me being snide.

Kidding aside, Canny Jock's advice is best.

At 16 you're unable to get credit.

Bank account wise, there's a few options available to you. I'd say that RBS is no better or worse than any of the others for youth accounts.

I would say give natwest a try. Also their adapt account comes with a solo debit card which you can customize :T , but beware that every time it will cost a fiver to do so:eek:
