Car Insurance Quote

Hi,

I recently got my renewal in and I am shocked the amount I have to pay it doesn't seem right and I will 99% be going elsewhere if I dont get a significant reduction.

My details are as follows:-

Age 27
Married
Living with Parents
Full Time Employed
2001 registered car, 2.0l, tax band F, 5 door saloon with no add ons
3 year no claims bonus
held license for 3 years
Quote can in at £556! and its only for 10 months bonus accelerator!

Does that seem right to some people? I was hoping of £300-£350 at the most.

Why don't you shop around and see if you can get it cheaper.

I assume the Insurers have quoted you for 12 months cover instead of 10 which may explain some of the increase

Check with the Insurers you get quotes from to make sure they accept the 12 months no claims bonus.

What experience do you have in setting premium levels for motor insurance?

You post doesn't actually mention WHERE you live, which is one of the most important factors.
