Lloyds offered settlement but..

Options
Hi ya all,

After 6 months' battle with lloyds, got a letter today from FOS that Loyds agreed to settle mis-sold PPI as a goodwill gesture. But on FOS letter, there is no exact settlement figure mentioned just that Lloyds will calculate compensation and pay in 12 weeks. I will need to sign settlement agreement and send back to FOS.

Anyone has been in similar situation? Shall I ask FOS about the settlement figure before signing coz Lloyds might play sneaky on this?

thanks guys

    Hi there
Great news on the offer, well done.:T

But yes do try to ask for the figures, tell them for you to consider will depend on the amount lloyds tsb have offered, they should be able to provide this for you.

My hubby had to ask as well, and again that was lloyds tsb, and settled through the FOS, they did provide the figures when he asked.;)

Good luck and remember if your not happy you can ask the adjudicator to have this further investigated, although it may take a little longer as I believe its then moved on to the ombudsman himself.;)
