It's not brand new, just newish.

We just didn't tell you about it.

    We've all been looking/using it :)

Is someone who got his price astronomically above a saleable price likely to suddenly reduce it to a reasonable price or joy of joys a bargain. I think probably not, but interesting just the same.

They have been sending out area by area reduction pages for a few months IIRC.

I've been receiving the Carmarthenshire one, so I suppose I must have asked for it.

Well, makes no difference now. I gave those Welsh hopefuls enough time, but they wasted the opportunity by just shaving the odd £5 -£10k off here and there, instead of giving me the car-crash price I was after.

I'll take this opportunity to say simply: 'Ta'ra. Sorry I didn't get to know you better.'

Or was that Michael Jackson? No, definitely not. I couldn't afford his place, even before HPI.

still need a tool to link the actual sold price with the asking price(s)... guess the lag from Land Registry data would make it less useful than I'm imagining, though.
My friends bought a house in Richmond, initial asking price was £499,000, they got it for £303,000! I mean obv the original price was way overvalued, but still, 40% off the asking price sounds damn good when he tells the story!

So how much further will the falls be? If, as some say, a further 25% to go that will take us back to which year? 2002?

I have no idea pobby, but the way things are going i think me & OH will be able to buy what we want on less than 3x one salary and the rest cash, so the lower the better really for us :D

I would love richmond, its SO nice but weve been looking in cheaper areas ;)
