Hi People if this is the wrong place to post this please accept my appologies.
I am asking this question on behalf of my son.
My son took a job for three days a week (mon, tue and wed) it was a good job working with a plasterer and training the same time £6 per hour 24hrs a week now the plasterer he works for takes days off willy nilly so where my sons days were mon, tue and wed he now makes him work thur and/or fri for the days he (the plasterer) took off so as a result my son thought he might find a job for the remaining 2 or 3 days to make his money up has now gone (if you know what i mean?) Now my son has a rented house a 1yr old baby and the mother of his child they live together and she works 20hrs any Help on what he can claim please as he is struggling to pay his bills.

The solving of a problem lies in finding the solvers.

If your son is earning £144 per week and his partner i assume around £120 per week it maybe that all they can claim if they dont already will be tax credits and of course family allowance.
Might be worth checking "entitled to".0
