You've said you've been shopping on 23rd, 25th, 27th, 28th June and buying 6 yoghurts on 27th and another 4 on the 28th.
My advice is to go through your cupboards, fridge and freezer so you know what you have.
Write a meal plan for each day of the week
I.e. Mon - Breakfast: cereal; Lunch - tuna sandwich; Tea (or dinner depending which part of Britain you're from!) - Mince stir fry with rice
and so on. Then make a shopping list so you know exactly what you need to buy so you will have enough for each day of the week. Take meal list and shopping list (if sausages are on offer then buy that instead of mince and change that meal).
I think you should try and choose a day to go shopping, Monday for instance, and then every Monday go shopping BUT NOT BEFORE!!! That way, rather than going 4 times in 5 days you're just going once a week and aren't tempted to buy little bits and bobs.
Good luck0 -

You are doing really well. Budgeting on such a limited amount when you're not used to it can be VERY difficult and will get easier.
Make a list of all the food you have in and write down meals you can make from it, then initially just buy what you need to make up meals. Here are some cheap basics:
Breakfasts:
Porridge, cereal, toast. Try and get a fruit in here too.
Lunches:
Leftovers (from night before), soup/roll, baked spud + cottage cheese (value one is lovely!), beans or spagetti on toast, sarnie with cheese, vegemite, egg or jam etc.
Dinners:
Veggie shepherds pie, egg & chips, omelette, quiche, cheesey mash & toms, quorn. Bulk out with spuds (mash, new pots, baked, roasties, chips), rice or pasta. Have you tried couscous.....delish and very cheap! Tuna pasta, tuna rice salad.
Snacks:
Yogurts, fruit, toast, noodles, cheese & crackers etc etc.
Try and drink a little more water too. Recommended to drink 2ltrs min each day.

All the best.
We do £260 per month or £60 per week (we do a weekly shop), this includes everything, lunches, breakfast, tea, toileries etc. How much do you spend per day each for lunch? This can make the £120 grow quite considerably as it's a lot of lunches for the two of you per week. My GF has sandwiches and I have soup which we get in the £60 shop.--

I have just started budgeting myself like this, am reporting the results (and the meals I cook) on my food blog. With exception for budget items, everything I buy is reduced , on sale, or in offers!
Hopefully it should be fine to keep up!

Nonsense! If you are drinking two litres of water then go see your doctor - you have diabetes.0 -

You are the one who is talking nonsense.Guidelines are for two litres of fluids (not alcohol sadly!) per day - more if you exercise regularly, in hot weather, if you have a very physical job etc.
