Legoland in the school holidays - would I be mad to go???

I know there are lots of people who have posted about Legoland, so if anyone could help me out, it would be much appreciated.
I have got vouchers for Legoland and would very much like to take my two year old there before my holidays end in two weeks time. Of course, at the moment it is school holidays too...is it likely to be horribly crowded? Would I be much better taking another days holiday in a months time and going then?
Thanks in advance...

I go there quite a bit as I have an annual pass. IMO if you have a two year old and you want to make a special day of it together, then I would wait. It's not just the rides, but also the queues in the restaurants etc.
If your little one is over 0.9m tall, then there are quite a few rides that they can go on at Legoland. Under that, then the selection is a little more limited, but there are still loads.
If it's busy, then you will spend more time queuing, which isn't great with a smaller child as it can take the momentum out of the day. It's your call really, but I personally prefer it when it's not so busy.
Have a great time."One day I realised that when you are lying in your grave, it's no good saying, "I was too shy, too frightened."
Because by then you've blown your chances. That's it."0 -
if you are a AA member I believe at the moment you can get a free child pass with paying adult as saw their brochure somewhere.
also last minute cheaper.

We went on Sunday. Did not yet there until about 2pm, because eldest had his martial arts lesson. We have season tickets, so did not mind just going for the afternoon.
It had been raining in the morning, and must have put people off because it was very quiet. It rained again while we were inside eating lunch, but was dry all the time we were in the open. We stayed till closing time at 6pm. By then, you could just walk straight onto any ride. Our two boys are now both of an age where they can go on the "big" driving school. They took a ride, then walked straight out of the exit to the entrance again to take another straight away. 15 minutes queing for the boats, but that is much shorter than usual.
The only time I remember seeing it quieter was during the petrol blockades.
It is pot luck to a certain extent how busy things will be. We live fairly close, so sometimes will drive up and see how full the carpark is. If it is too full, we turn around and go somewhere else. I do not know if you are close enough to do that.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.

Thanks for all your replies...think on balance I might wait. Something to look forward to anyway. I just have to get a day sorted before DS turns 3 and I have to pay for him.0
