google mail spam help

My google mail spam box collects between 50 to 100 a day which are genuine spam messages :mad:
Is there anything else can I do to actually stop this junk from hitting my mail box at all.

If you're already getting spam, the horse has bolted I'm afraid.

If it's in your spam folder though, what's the problem?

I have configured OE as the mail client for googlemail. The main site catches the spam while OE receives only the "good stuff".

As Taffybiker says, IN SETTINGS, go to Forwarding POP/IMAP
Forward a copy of incoming mail to (enter your OE email address, Save Changes, your emails will appear in OE, without the spam,
