small stain on dry clean only dress

Hi, i bought a new dress for an event tomorrow night but stupidly allowed a bit of my sandwich (bbq chicken) to fall into the bag on my way home. There is a small stain on the dress. The dress is white with red spots and the stain is on the white bit, towards the bottom near the side seam. - not very noticable but was wondering if i could dab it off with something? or is it best left alone? The dress is 75% cotton 25% silk ( don't have time to dry clean)

theres something called spot clean or dry clean that you can buy from the supermarket. I will check the name properly when i get up to go to the kitchen (too lazy at mo!), its basically a liquid that you put on a cloth and then dab on the stain. Costs about £2-4, but is worth it, saved so much money not having to take our outfits to the dry cleaners over little marks/spillages.

I always have a bottle of this stuff, its just great.

its called Spotless Dry Clean Liquid and can be found in many supermarkets near the laundry section, i normally buy from tesco.
