Glasses Lens replacement.

Well, after 9 years of wearing glasses i've managed to scratch a lens in the strangest place!
I bought both frames and lenses on HC2 basis in October. My circumstances have changed though and I now have an HC3.
My Optician says it's going to cost £40 to replace. I have Prism in both lenses so does this count as complex, and will I at least get the voucher for that and pay the rest myslef?

Unless you can prove that the scratch occured due to ill health, I'm afraid that you won't get a voucher. Even then, the repair voucher will could be worth less than the value on your HC3. Sorry to be the bringer of bad news.Beware the character seeking personal gain masquerading as a moral crusader.

I don't know how complex your lenses are but try looking for specs online. I got my last pair for £20 all in. That was for frame, lenses, UV coating, anti glare, a scratch resistant coating and p&p.
There are lots of sites for cheap specs but the one I use and would recommend is www.goggles4u.co.uk
