Burst pipe water damage- how much to repair?

Options
Hello,

There's a house we like the look of, but has got some water damage to several of the rooms, due to a burst water pipe during the winter. (The house has been empty for around a year!)

Does anybody know roughly how much it costs to repair afew damp walls? Would I need the damp proof course treatment for the rooms?...

Any help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!!

How long is a piece of string?

How long was the water leaking? Have the rafters/joists/floorboards rotted? Does the plaster all need hacking off and replacing? Were the electrics compromised and need rewiring? etc etc etc.

Best bet is to ask the estate agents if you can arrange for a builder to visit and assess the damage and what remedial works will be required. If it ahs been up for sale for a year then they will probably be obliging
