Well informed people at Westcot

Just been informed that apparantly as 02 chose not to disconnect my phone until 2 months after my bankruptcy I'm still liable for the debt and they're taking me to court...

Yes 02 were included, and I also informed O2 when they called me.

Am just sending a copy of their letter to my OR, the woman on the phone was insistent I was still liable, how they're able to make this untrue claims I really don't know.

IF the account was included in your paperwork then o2 can go & whistle for the cash.....you ARE NOT liable for the charges added....figures though with o2 they were exactly the same with me they dont know their !!!! from their elbows :D

I was 95% sure that would be the case but you've made me feel a bit better, will send letter to my OR then spend the next couple of weeks baiting them I think

let them use their own money and look ridiculous when they go to court to see your BR order ! well one of my creditor did that last year she coudl not uderstand that BR wiped everything .. anyooh she wasted her breath and money .. she even made a special application to have her cost awarded etc... when it come down to the hearing the judge went mental over her for wasting his time and her money for nothing hew told her well if you had bother to read the BR order you will have udnerswtood that it is very unlikely you will get any money so get lost and your claim is thrown out .

Westcott chased me throughout my bankruptcy on behalf of O2. When they finally accepted I had gone bankrupt - after abusive and threatening phone calls from them - they then sold it on to Buchanan Clarke and Wells who are now chasing me. I have sent both them and O2's legal department a copy of my bankruptcy certificate and my discharge letter - not heard from them in a week so maybe it's finally over. O2 suck as far as I'm concerned

They phoned me daily, sometimes more than one person, and although they were quite polite when I spoke to them one person told me to send my bankruptcy notice to O2 (which I did) then another one called up and said I had to send a copy to them as well  I really hope it is done and dusted now though...
