Declined Abbey Zero

in Credit cards
Just been declined for an Abbey Zero card - never had this happen before but apparently I don't have a high enough credit rating. Bit odd because I had cancelled the application when I realised that Saga's the better card for me. Was accepted straight away for Saga with a hefty limit, 0% on purchases for 9 months and no overseas transaction fee for Europe.
Have always had a high credit rating, but obviously not high enough for Abbey!
