i am using this company I-smart to claim back credit card/ppi/bank charges. They keep invoicing me wrong and then not paying money back to me - I have made numerous phone calls/emails to them and still no luck - when i told them I wanted to cancel all other claims with them they said they would charge me £50 each one - surely if they are not providing proper service they cannot do this.
Has anyone else had any dealings with this company?
i threated them with financial ombudsman today to see if that gets my claim sorted.

Ismart, like most CMC are vultures and prey on people who aren't up to speed on how to complain and ultimately refer a case to the ombudsman. All you need to do is write a letter to the institution give them 8 weeks and if not satsfied then refer it to the ombudsman yourself, at the cost of a few stamps.
The ombudsman cannot deal with complaints about CMC's, you will need to report the matter to the ministry of justice, just type claims regulation into google0 -
They are scumbags Janjel. Hope you got it sorted.
With help and support from guys on this website I intend to help expose these cowboys. Not a very happy bunny at the minute.
