The following article was published today: http://money.sky.com/mp/features/news/2009/06/25/Warning-over-cost-of-118-calls.html
It's a warning about directory enquiries numbers, and how they can charge in excess of £1-£2 per call! It gives some free phone services, and recommends looking into this in detail.
Has anyone been stung by directory enquiries? Will you start using the numbers in the article? Do you think it's a travesty?

Yup. http://www.thephonebook.com
Used to use this on my mobile too but thanks to a tariff 'improvement' I get stung 50p as soon as I use the internet so it can make using the online phone book a bit pricey. It used to cost a couple of pence to lookup a number this way.0 -
