Buyer leaving neg

Good advice from cyril there, you offered to give the person their money back without a return, what more could you do? you've left a calm factual response to their neg, it won't put people off buying from you, and ultimately it's just a red dot in cyberspace, it means nothing, forget it and move on.0

Or maybe thats just called Customer Service?!
It all depends on how the customer makes the approach. A shouty ranty person with short-man-sytndrome is not likely to get much more than the bare minimum of my obligations to them, and this may even mean escalating paypal claims to draw the issue out, but if they approach me with a modicum of decency and courtesy, then I have no problems refunding, replacing etc, even at my own cost or without them having to return it.
Sadly it seems that common courtesy and decency is being wiped out by the shouty "I (think I) know my rights and i'll sue/neg/hunt you down and kick you" brigade.<--- Nothing to see here - move along --->0
