E Buyer - sat nav.

WARMING - READ TERMS & CONDITIONS PROPERLY. Bought a sat nav from E buyer (this site said good price). Unfortunately like a lot of people I ticked the terms & conditions without reading it all. Bought it a month in advance for a friends birthday as going on hol for 2 weeks. Got back and found friend's hubby bought her a sat nav. Contacted E buyer and they have a 10 day return policy. Won't budge / even give me a credit note. Have written to them saying my mistake but could they give reconsider as in credit crunch times (and Xmas) a 10 day return policy isn't very good, but they can't even be bothered to reply.

As the product isn't faulty, you have no rights to return it.

Any other birthdays coming up? Use it yourself? Sell it on ebay?
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

You should always read the T&C's or at least have a good understanding of your statutory rights ;)

I'd do what pinkshoes suggested, give it to somebody else or get it on ebay, no point fighting ebuyer anymore, they don't have to do anything.

Also the 10 day return policy IS good, it's more than they have to give you by law.

I've used ebuyer loads of times and found their service to be very good (got one of their sat-navs too ...a bargain)
