    Hello All!
Disappointingly cloudy here this morning. I was planning to go booting but thought I'd do some eBay listing instead then pop to the monthly church jumble this afternoon. Listing to The Cure, oh the nostalagia!

    Wearing:
Vintage reworked teal blue TopShop dress, strapless with peacock and tropical flower print (£1.24 eBay)
River Island skinny jeans, I've cut them off 3 inches below the knee and turned them up (5p jumble sale)
Leather Gladiator sandal-boots (the ones that go 12inches up the leg) £3 Indian street market
4inch wide dark Accessorize wooden cuff bangle (30p Car boot)
Chunky wooden bangle with peace signs & chunky wood bangle with turquoise stones and diamonte bits (ex-Accessorize 30p car boot)
Large turquoise enamel disc earrings (Bay liquidation sale 80p)
    Indian silver tribal rings

Gymfiend - good choice of jeans there, don't get rid of any more (unless, of course you're sending them my way) :rotfl:

p.s. can someone help me with advice? I bought a pair of Birkenstock Relax shoes (the ones with just a strap across the foot, no toe post or anything) yesterday and have been wearing them at home to see if they're comfy. They seem fine but are they actually comfy for wearing all day? I walk to and from work (half an hour each way) and go for a walk at lunch (anything from half to one hour). Does anyone have a pair and are they as comfy as they claim?

    Hi everyone!!

You lot are so lucky - getting to wear nice stuff for work - I get to wear a lovely nylon-type uniform tunic in a gorgeous shade of mushroom (not) and navy trousers with a waistband so high even Simon Cowell would balk at them!!! :rotfl:

Here's my outfit for today (I get changed at work)

White t-shirt with sweetheart neckline (Matalan, £5 - I live in it though, its so comfy and quite smart)
Pale blue jeans (Evans, £25 - again quite smart and fairly fitted which is good as Evans jeans tend to fit where they touch on me :rotfl:)
Pink stripy socks (Bought in a pack of 5 from Primark, have had them ages though so no idea how much they originally cost)
Hot pink and white Reebok trainers (I got these from Shoetailor.com - think they were about £40  not very MSE really!!!!)

Bag is a lilac rucksack I bought from Downtown in Grantham, think it was about £5 or something but its fab to use for work.
I also have on blue button stud earrings I got for 99p in Superdrug.

Have a good day everyone!! xx

    Hi everyone, todays outfit is

strapless white and turquoise cotton dress - local market
turquoise ankle tie patterned flat shoes - local market (where I used to live)

    usual jewelery
    white spy bag - Fendi
what's a reasonable number of jeans to have?

I have at least 25 pairs at the last count about a year ago all of which are different and I wear them whenever the occasion suits and I just bought two more pairs this morning, one grey 3/4 length from H&M, couldn't be bothered to try them on and they look horrendous (should of remembered their sizing is no good for me) so they are going back and one pair of super baggy/flarey jeans from Republic, these have big gold rhinestone things on the pockets and belt hooks and look just how I wanted:Tas you can tell I don't do minimalist when it comes to the size of my wardrobe:rotfl:
Thank you for this site Martin

    Good luck for the future

I'm wearing my french connection jeans again and a mushroom wrap top (french connection sale £12). I'll wear my white wedges when we go out.
Usual jewellery and a strandy dangly bits necklace.
I need to research the bags a bit better as I only have one handbag and ought to get more. I'm not mad keen on them though.
Jeans, I have 3 pairs and one pending in (after they've been turned up but the other pair will go then). I will buy more though if I find some nice ones. I'm not averse to having clothes just want nice ones!

    Hi all,

    Today I am wearing:
    This vest top http://www.topshop.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?beginIndex=0&viewAllFlag=true&catalogId=19551&storeId=12556&categoryId=167014&parent_category_rn=42325&productId=1177977&langId=-1
    River island skinny jeans
    Sand tall uggs

Gymfiend, sounds like you have a good selections of jeans! I have lots of pairs but I seem to live in the river island skinny jeans that I'm wearing today although I don't even like them that much, it's just they are handy to wear with my uggs - which I live in!

  • Gymfiend, i have 2 pairs, thats it, it's one in one out for me. (replaced yearly as i live in jeans)

Birkys are the comfiest ever, i can be in mine all day and not get a twinge. But apparently shoes that flip flop requires your toes to claw onto the footbed arn't good for you (i'm sure there is a technical term for all that information lol)

Lovely weather here today, doing stuff around the house and not going out so i'm wearing a pink beach ra-ra style skirt and a white vest, dead comfy but not to be seen outdoors in such attire!!

    See you all later xx
