Fashionista's Daily, Thursday 25 June

Hello, this is the Fashionista's Daily Thread......the ideal place to keep up to date with what is being worn by our MSE posters!

Feel free to browse or post, we're all very friendly!!

Morning folks!

Looks like another warm one today.....wish it was next week when I'm off work!

Anyway, office again today :( so the usual:

Black Next trouser suit
Pink & white cap-sleeved top (Next via Ebay)
Pink leather wedge sandals (Clarks sale last year)
Plus the usual watch, gold/diamond necklace & earrings.

I really MUST do some ironing tonight - I did a little bit yesterday, but the sofa is still covered in clothes :o so if I am on here after 7pm, please chase me back to the heap!

Whatatwit, I find that the BHF shops in St Annes & Lytham are pretty good too ;)

I am wearing white shorts:eek:, Mango blue top with silver butterfly across front from sales last summer (bit blingy for me but oh well, it's summer), silver gladiator sandals.

Floss - only iron the essentials i.e smart shirts, trousers anything else can be folded and put away!

Morning all, looking to be another lovely day! I am at work again, where the air con is set to "polar" so I am wearing:

    pale pink v-neck sweater
    navy blue pinstripe skirt
    shoes: nude patent courts
    jewellery: pearls

I'm also having a massive shoe dilemma. I am going to a wedding this weekend- a very fancy affair. I ordered 2 pairs of shoes online and need to send one pair back but I can't decide which:

    1. Expensive, designer pair. Super high heels but oh so pretty.

    2. Cheaper (still a fair chunk of £££) high street pair. Low heels and something more akin to what my mother would wear.

    Head or heart guys???

    Heart every time Imelda!!!

Morning ladies :) Hope everyone is well? It's Thursday so I am happy, start winding down for the weekend!

I'm working from home today, with every intention of popping out to do my grocery shopping & maybe some charity shopping later on. Right now I'm wearing black skinny jeans & a baggy white top with a bright skull pattern on it, barefoot and mooching round the house.

Once I go out & the sun comes out, I'll switch to:
Dark blue knee length denim shorts - Topshop via eBay £4
Baggy white skull top - bought in HK, think it was about £6
Thick brown leather belt - had for years, originally TK Ma for £15
Pumps - either black studded Office or leopard print, depending what matches (I'm not sure!)
Bag will be big and brown Accessorize & my big brown sunglasses :)

Oooh parred my wardrobe back further yesterday and was hoping for opinions...what's a reasonable number of jeans to have? So far I'm down to:
    1. Straight leg dark blue Mavi jeans
    2. Black Topshop skinny jeans
    3. Charcoal ASOS skinny jeans
    4. G Star baggy jeans
    5. Topshop bootcut dark blue jeans
    Is that reasonable?!

Have a good day everyone, xx

Hello all! I have work to do but what the hell.

I'm going to post in the colour I'm wearing most of today, which is brown (LOL).

    So it's:

Brown and white spotty skirt from C&A (oh the nostalgia) via a charity shop - £2
Brown strappy top from MK One - £1
Beige cardi from Primark - £6.85
Brown sandals from Topshop - £15 in last year's sale
Brown beads and bracelet both from Thailand - about 5p!
Brown/cream embroidered and beaded bag from Monsoon - £7 in last year's sale

This thread makes me feel really good as I've just realised how little my entire outfit cost! :D

Imelda - can you walk in the high heels and can you afford them? If the answer is an honest yes to both, then go with them.

p.s. gymfiend, you are very well dressed for being at home, I'd probably be in my nightie! :rotfl:

And 5 pairs of jeans is positively restrained, I have about 20 pairs (oh dear). I really should have a clear out.

hmmm gymfiend- jeans, I am a fan and think your stock sounds reasonable to me.

I'm a bit of a hoarder when it comes to them- I threw some out recently but still have:

    1. 7 for all mankind- really old and tatty but I love slobbing about in them. In their hey day they were the best cut jeans ever, I can't bear to part with them!
    2. Diesel indigo boot cut jeans- good for wearing with flats
    3. Topshop dark blue skinnies
    4. river island grey skinnies
    5. oasis black straight leg jeans
    6. topshop blue long flared jeans (for wearing with heels)

    7. a really, really old pair of diesel jeans that I wore when I was 21. I keep these as my benchmark for keeping trim. If I can't get into them without performing a contortionist's routine I know it's time to eat more healthily for a few weeks :D

Can I join in? I love this kind of thing!

Wish I was wearing a dress as it's so summery, but I'm on a Vespa so need jeans!

    Today:
    Stonewashed Skinny Jeans
    Grey Vest top
    Purple Cath Kidston Cardie
    Rocketdog Pumps

Using my Cath Kidston bucket bag too.

Reading all the posts on here I really want to go rumaging in the sales or in charity shops. Must behave!

Well, walking is only an option isn't it??? :rotfl: They're pretty comfy- they are 4.5inch heels with a 1inch platform so they actually only really like a 3.5inch heel

    image.axd?picture=2009%2F2%2F95794_3.jpg
And yes I can afford them- they were reduced by 40% but still pretty pricey.... I do find it hard to justify that amount of money on one pair of shoes :o

    Ooh nice shoes Imelda!

    Today I am wearing:

    - White tea dress with pattern of black and gold butterflies, bought from Peacocks for about £15 a year ago (thank God for student discount!)
    - Flat gold New Look ballet pumps (about £15, only had them a few weeks but I'm wearing them to death right now)
    - Silver initial necklace
    - Silver ring
    - Silver and amber stud earrings

I am however being very naughty and coveting many many things in the Joe Browns sale section...

ETA: Re: jeans - I have three pairs, two dark blue/black pairs from Gap (they are expensive initially for me but sooo worth it because I absolutely live in them outside work) for weekends and evenings, and one black/grey pair from Dorothy Perkins that I wear to go out in.
