When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.

But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free

Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.

So be proud of those small steps, they really are important:D

Well good morning everyone....woohoo1.gif

    Morning all :j

Congrats on 1-2-1s where due! A bit dull here today so I won't mind being cooped up in my dungeon (office) quite so much. Loads of work to do again today, and indeed right up to my redundancy date  I wish I weren't so damned conscientious

Apart from work, today I have / will:

Check online banking - I have been paid thank goodness

See to plants and animals (done morning shift). It is paying off, as we now have new potatoes, mangetout peas, spring onions, radishes, tomatoes and cucumbers, with broad beans, shallots and courgettes to come soon (had one courgette already - a yellow one :D ) And eggs of course, loads of 'em!

HM meals from stores, though fish, not sausages - mind you I have a wicked recipe for a sort of sausage and roasted veg bake. I think I will have to make that soon to use up some of the vegetables :D

Think of something to make to reduce egg mountain - might do lemon curd!

Try to resist the coffee at work and make my own (not as good unfortunately)

Definitely resist muffins / flapjacks in coffee shop

Check times for London trains for tomorrow, as have to give a presentation (on what is supposed to be my day off - again  ) Whatever will they do to boost their careers once I have gone? Good job they are having a rest now :rotfl:

Take money from BS to pay builders

Have a nice day everyone :hello:
