hi
can i claim for ppi on accounts that are now in the care of a dmp ?
would they then turn and try and make things difficult for me reguarding freezing interest etc on my dmp?
i think i must have been mis sold as i have been out of work for years, also one firm rang me a couple of times reguarding a late payment (before dmp was put in place) and i told them that my circumstances had changed even more and that i was on income support and waiting for a csa payment and was,nt told i should,nt have ppi as i would,nt be covered by it anyway,
thanks for your time

    Hi there

Due to the fact that the PPI was worthless to you anyway, then yes you can try to reclaim on this, as far as I know it does not matter if your on DMP or not.
If successful, it may be a help to your plan anyway.

Below is the link to PPI reclaiming and the guidelines, with templates, however try to use your own words if you can with your reasons of why you believe you were mis sold.

They have 8 weeks to respond in full.

Another letter maybe required if they do not resolve this in your favour, but if you hear nothing at all for those 8 weeks you are entitled to move this on to the finanical ombudsman service (FOS).

In the final response they also give you details of the FOS if your not satisfied with the outcome of your complaint.

Post all letters by recorded delivery, and please keep us posted, good luck.;)
